Left home about 2+pm after a little project discussions. Stopped at St Paul metro and walked down Rue Rivoli to Musée Carnavalet & further down by Rue Vieille du Temple for our Notre Dame visit today.

While heading back, passed Hôtel du ville as well. Went home from that metro station.

Stopped at Pigalle metro, walked down further, passing by Anvers metro to explore. Browsed Tati and Etam, as well as a weird grocery store. Walked back by Place Saint-Pierre. Amazed by how much I can navigate through our area.

Reached home, casually changed, finally watched finish Madagascar, and the long awaited CON:Prince Caspian. Both movies were good.

Overall, spent a rather interesting day. Noted that I have written short and technical sentences but I don`t care. Thought that it described my day pretty well.

Realization of the day: Many things shouldn`t be taken so seriously & I should stop procrastinating.

Yesterday was cool. After school, we headed home, then we relaxed for awhile before heading to our international students' gathering in front of the Sacre Coeur. It`s really nice to hang out and socialize with them. (:

Then today, we had our first Marketing lesson. I think I would really love to be in the marketing field when I graduate. I find every aspects of marketing interesting, something that keeps my motivations high and my rhythm going. If i`m not interested, I find it hard to focus and concentrate? It's really bad but, yea it's just me. I am trying to overcome it thou. :D

After our lessons, Sheryl and I waited outside school, for Clarissa to finish her stuffs in school. Today's my treat day, so I got some frenchie baguettes and pastries to try. And I tried feeding pigeons~! A whole flock of them! Super cool. I'm wondering when will I get to do it again. :D Will upload the pigeon-y photos soon.

Then, after fetching Clarissa, we came home. Rested for awhile at home, then accompanied Rachel to top up her phone card, after meeting her with her while she's printing photos. We decided to take a walk around our area, and as she havent took a walk with me before, I thought that showing her around would be nice. So we strolled down to Blanche side to get her some postcards, then through Pigalle, we walked toward Anvers and actually shopped some really good stuffs.

Both of us bought our winter boots, damn good deals. Both 29 euros, Adidas, cozy inside, leather outside. :D On promotion. Her's was the last second of the size and mine was the last of the design. We browsed through other stores and while on our way back, we visited the Crumpler store near our apartment. Rachel bought a laptop casing for her bf, which is only 10 euros, on promotion as well.

We went home, to Sheryl and Clarissa with our good deals and got them both excited. Clarissa dying to get the boots as well and Sheryl wanna tag along to see the Crumpler stuffs. Unable to resist the temptation, and to protect my beloved laptop - as this is a hard casing - I went back to the store, with Clarissa and Sheryl and....... bought one too! It's totally awesome. But this will mean, expenditure restrain for, uh, months? :P But I think it's well worth it! We went back to the store where we got the boots and it's closed. Was around 7+pm but guess we`ll pop by tmr instead.

Now for some oatmeal time...! - dinner - Tmr's lesson gonna be.... black and white *boring*

Apparently, Notre-Dame trip was cancelled, cause of the stupid weather forecast - with heavy rains - which didn`t happen at all?

Soooo, today, all of us slacked at home, except for the trip to Carrefour to get some groceries. Watched "Amelie" with Sheryl, which I find rather interesting. Tried to make Cinnamon Oatmeal due to my fascination with Cinnamon. :D First try failed, cause too much water, and my dislike for adding sugar in my stuffies. Second try was alright thou, so yup, I found my formula for making Cinnamon Oatmeal.

Apart from being absolutely boring, the confusion totally elevated the negativity of today to a higher level. Timetables and clashing of modules, together with the need to confirm our modules with our Singapore's registra, and the transfer of personnel to deal with our issues is super annoying.

Gah, shan't think about it. I think i`ll take a walk or a jog up Sacre-Coeur again later.

(: Some fresh air is good for cooling down.

Hopefully tmr will be more interesting.

Woke up this morning, slightly later than usual, cause the warmth from the comforter was too appealing. Paris weather is getting from cold to colder each day. Trying to adapt to it, hopefully will be soon.

Went to school today for our first official lesson - Business Negotiation.
Totally proved to me that my decision and effort to come to Europe was well worth it. The lesson style here is quite different, I wouldnt say to my liking, but I thought it was an interesting comparison.

I havent been socializing as much as I thought I would have. Probably being held back by, perhaps some considerations and the other 3 girls are pretty much, just not the kinda enthu-socializing sorta people I guess.

Well, it's not that bad, but I think I`ll stay this way till something triggers me. Hurhur.

Tmr will be Notre Dame! Hopefully. (:

Gonna try to sleep. Bonne Nuit!

Today, according to our week's timetable, is a lesson-free day.

We had planned to go to the Notre Dame last night, but apparently, we ended up at The Lourve today!

The place is simply breath-taking - except that the cold temperature took away our breath before the Lourve did. As usual, I got to do my favourite "jump shot" there, and some funny dudes joined in[in the background]!

Apparently, I've got to try many time to get shots that I like. (: But yup, it was satisfying, minus the jumping with heels experience. We moved on in search of things to do - shopping - and ended up in Porte du Lourve? Walked around for abit, window shopped but didn't get anything.

Then, Clarissa and Rachel went off first, cause they wanna go home early; likely to be boyfriend and family reunion time. Sheryl and me "leh-park-ed" at the park outside and walked along Rue de Ravoli and did some window shopping. Bodyshop is overpriced in Paris, thus I didn't get the body butter I formally wanted to buy. It's really getting quite annoying cause my skin's really drying up. =/

Reached home after taking the metro, finally put up our names at our mailbox - hopefully none of our letters get bounced back - after permission granted by our landlady. Did some financial counting and I outta really start saving for long term purposes.

My daily walks are reduced, due to bad "nightwalk" experiences and long distance walking and climbing. Am gonna resume it soon, like maybe tmr. I miss Sacre Coeur already. Hurhur.

The days are flying pass so quickly that I could barely believe it. Time to grasp each second before it all disappears! (:

Officially, I'm in Paris!

As usual, I'm lazy to update. But so far Paris have been good. Cold weather, wonderful streets, french culture wafting through the air as you step on every stone and dust. Sacre Coeur Basilique is right around 10 minutes walk from our apartment, so I always like to go up there when I've got nothing to do. Other than that, we visited the Eiffel Tower, Arc du Triomphe, Royal Palace, many Passages, and the shopping streets around Châtelet.

Tried the baguettes and croissants from the boulangerie here, and no wonder the Frenchs love their bread. It's warm in our hands when we got it and it tasted heavenly, so different from the ones we have in Singapore.

Grocery shopping here is crazy during Saturdays. Well, not just grocery shopping, but generally, shopping is crazy on Saturdays cause it's their shopping day. Everywhere is packed and swarming with humans. Mais, it's shopping paradise for me here, cause their shelf sizes are like my size! It's uber awesome, *thoughts and hopeful wishes about staying here, forever creeps in* Hurhur.

Another thing that amazes me is that, Paris is walkable everywhere, like seriously. Walked from 1st Arrondissement to our 18th Arrondissement was super fun - to me at least -. I prefer walking than the metros, Paris is so much more enjoyable by foot.

Soooo, we had 3 Days of orientation and it was basically the bare essentials. Most of it done in French, thus the 4 of us are like dummies everywhere.

First day of school today, apparently, everything is in French. I guess my French really needs to be improved, if not 4-5months here would be disastrous. First week's timetable's hilarious, like Tuesday and Thursday is free day for us? Tomorrow, I think we'll visit the Notre Dame? :D So awesome to be here.

Oh oh, and we tried, Mcdonalds in Paris! Gosh, it's expensive, considering conversion rates. But their packaging's nice, I wonder why don't we have those in Singapore. Talking about spending, actually, I think I have been spending relatively reasonably, just that when the conversion kicks in, it's suffocating. Hurhur. I should spend lesser, I think. But the stuffs that I bought during shopping day was totally worth it, IMO. (:

Aw well, I suppose things will improve as the days goes on [and hopefully, in relations, lesser expediture]. Meanwhile, I`ll just enjoy Paris!

Au revoir for now. :D

So, after a loonnngggg period of inactivity, after reading updates on Lebin's blog, I feel that I should throw in some updates.

Life in Year 3 have been busy busy busy. It's a different kind of busy from Year 2. After OIPP, life is slowly adjusting to the hectic-ness.

I actually misses Vietnam. That aside, life goes on.

Workload is crazy in Year 3. It's like, projects and reports and presentations. And it repeats, with occasional ICAs in between.

OSEP application is driving me nuts too. Instead of 1, we have 2 rounds of interview, and the next one is on the coming Monday. The unexpected part is that, I'm going to Paris, the place I never thought I would even consider. I do hope I`ll survive there, like srsly.

Have spent the entire of today, which is like "yesterday" as midnight have past, on researching for accommodations, air tickets and various other OSEP related stuff. I do hope everything goes on fine. *sigh*

Well, on Friday, went through the assessment for IEA-awards as one of the three under SBM, Phillip being the other one. It's interesting to see how the process actually is. Also, at the same time, we get updates from the other schools? So, overall it's a good experience.

Due to this assessment on Friday, I sorta wore more "decently", as compared to my usual, School Poly-tee, Shorts and Havanas. That includes a let down hair, which I havent realised that have grown so long, and light makeup. It's, weird to actually be doing all these. Guess i`m too boyish for all these.

Not much updates, even thou there are still things going thru my life. When I get the mood I'll probably settle down and sort it out? :)

Gonna go roam around as a midnight ghost. :D *goes disturb Elado* -poof-
